Crowe Murder Case - Mr. McInnis defended a 14 year old boy accused of murdering a friend's 12 year old sister. Two co-defendants (the 14 year old brother of the deceased and another 14 year old boy) confessed to the murder and stated the boy represented by Mr. McInnis was the killer having stabbed the 12 year old girl nine times. All three boys were tried as adults for murder and faced life in prison if convicted. After nearly a year of court proceedings all charges were dismissed against all three boys.
